Women in International Security Austria (WIIS) is relaunching and inviting you to come to our relaunch event!
We are part of a global NGO dedicated to contribute to the participation of women in the fields related to international security – including peace, conflict resolution, development, and human rights – through collaborative research, policy analysis, information exchange, professional development and networking.
To mark WIIS Austria’s relaunch in the New Year, we’re hosting former President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Christine Muttonen at the Diplomatic Academy in Vienna to discuss the importance of women in the security field. As the first Austrian and just the second woman in the history of the assembly, Christine Muttonen will share her experiences from a leadership perspective and discuss how women and men can proactively work towards balancing the political gender gap. We’re excited to hear her advice and hope it will kick-start 2018 for many of you offering a positive outlook on how you can contribute.
Join us at 7:30 on 12 January in the Musikzimmer of the Diplomatic Academy Vienna – first come, first seated!
