On 25th June Women in International Security Austria hosted a lovely Summer Party.
The opening speeches were held by President Jessica Grün, followed by H. E. Ambassador Ebrahimkhel of Afghanistan and the OSCE’s Senior Gender Advisor Amarsanaa Darisuren.
H. E. Ambassador Ebrahimkhel spoke of Afghan women’s strength in rebuilding their country, inspiring us with their stories of overcoming difficulties and making opportunities of them.
Mrs. Amarsanaa Darisuren, Senior Gender Advisor to the OSCE, gave a lively overview of the OSCE’s actions, encouraging all attending to work on implementing the strong framework of Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security and others.
