SIDE CHAT of the year, featuring Sara Pinheiro Stocker, an experienced security practitioner with an exciting career that spans the private sector, European Commission and the United Nations.
Meet Sara Pinheiro Stocker :
Sara is a Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Officer at the United Nations Office on Drug and Crime, where she focuses in particular on firearms trafficking. She previously worked for six years at the European Commission, in DG Home Affairs and DG International Partnerships, dealing with counter-terrorism and organized crime policy and projects. Sara also has experience in the private sector, having worked on advocacy for the European security industry. Sara holds a Law degree from the University of Lisbon and a Master’s degree from the College of Europe.
