Austria has recently elected a new parliament. The new government is yet to be formed. To make sense of the right-wing landslide and what it means for the foreign policy of Austria, we would like to invite you to a special event:
Join us on 19 November at the Austrian Parliament! The event will be a combination of a tour, conversation and socialising.
The tour of the Parliament will be given by Jessica Zenti-Grün, an inspiring member of our community and an experienced security policy advisor. She will show around the historical building, including the plenary room, and speak with you about Austrian security policy after the elections.
Jessica was president of WIIS Austria from 2017 to 2023. She has been working as a security policy advisor at the Austrian Parliament for the Green party since 2020 and her focus during the last five years were the national response to the Russian war in Ukraine, the 2020 Terror Attack in Vienna, the establishment of an body investigating police violence and the complete reform of the national intelligence service.

Enjoy: A tour of the Parliament, followed by drinks
RSVP: Please note that space for the tour (17-18h) has limited spots. Please reserve your spot. After the tour, everyone is welcome to join for drinks at the Cafe and Bar “Bistro” inside the Parliament (18-19h). Please note that the cafe closes at 19h.
